Cozumel has recovered from Hurricane Wilma, and is looking better than ever!

It has been almost three years since Cozumel was blasted by the category 4 Hurricane Wilma. Since that time, the residents of Cozumel have been working hard to restore the island.

In fact, many renovations have been completed since 2003, and the island is looking better than ever. The downtown area has been completely remodeled, and now includes pedestrian walkways lined with colonial-style benches, street lights and palm trees. Today, the downtown area is especially pleasant for strolling, shopping and just soaking up local culture.
